1. General

By purchasing products or registering for courses through Canadian Water Protection Ltd. (“CWP”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all online purchases, in-store purchases, and course registrations.

CWP reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Course Registration, Cancellation & Rescheduling

Course Fees

All course registrations must be paid in full to secure a seat. Space is limited and registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellations

All course registrations are non-refundable.

A substitute participant may attend in place of the original registrant at no additional charge, provided written notice is given prior to the course date.

Rescheduling Fees

• 7–14 days prior to the scheduled course date: $150 rescheduling fee
• Less than 7 days prior to the scheduled course date: $300 rescheduling fee

Rescheduled dates are subject to availability. Multiple reschedules are not permitted.

No-Shows

Participants who fail to attend their scheduled course without prior written notice will forfeit their registration and all associated fees.

Failed Courses

Students who do not achieve a passing grade may be eligible for one complimentary re-write, at the discretion of the instructor. Additional re-writes may be subject to fees.

Course Cancellation by CWP

Canadian Water Protection Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to low enrollment, instructor availability, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered transfer to a future course date. CWP is not responsible for travel or accommodation costs.

3. Product Sales & Returns Policy

General Product Sales

All product sales are considered final sale unless otherwise specified below.

No Returns / No Refunds

We do not accept returns or offer refunds on installed, used, or special-order products.

Products must be inspected at time of pickup or delivery.

3.1 Safety & Testing Equipment (Gauges)

Due to the nature of testing and safety devices:

Backflow test gauges and related testing equipment are non-returnable and non-refundable once opened or used.

These devices are considered precision safety instruments and cannot be resold once opened.

3.2 Water Treatment Equipment

Water softeners, iron filters, reverse osmosis systems, UV systems, and other water treatment equipment are covered under manufacturer warranties.

Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer.

Warranty coverage does not include:

• Improper installation
• Freezing
• Electrical damage
• Misuse or neglect
• Lack of maintenance
• Water conditions outside of recommended specifications

Labour, shipping, and service charges may not be covered under manufacturer warranty unless explicitly stated.

3.3 Damaged or Defective Products

If a product is received damaged or defective:

• Customer must notify CWP within 48 hours of receipt.
• Photos and documentation may be required.
• Replacement or manufacturer warranty process will be initiated where applicable.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping times are estimates only. Canadian Water Protection Ltd. is not responsible for carrier delays.

Freight charges are non-refundable once shipped.

5. Limitation of Liability

Canadian Water Protection Ltd. shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of products or participation in training courses.

Customer assumes responsibility for proper installation and use of all purchased equipment.

By completing a purchase or course registration, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
