CROSS CONNECTION CERTIFICATION COURSE

Cross-Connection Certification

Course Overview

Boost your plumbing expertise by exploring cross connection. Knowledge of the natural laws that govern water flow allows you to predict how it will behave. Become a specialist for backflow assemblies, allowing you to install, troubleshoot, repair, and test. Discover the different backflows, and why they happen, once identified, determine hazard levels, and choose the proper assembly/device. Whether it be premise, area/zone or fixture isolation, your knowledge will allow you to assess the protection required. Test your knowledge in the course exam.

After completion, the specialist will be certified for a five (5) year period, before the certification expires, the specialist will have to take a recertification course. CSA standards are reviewed, including the NPC and the B64.10

Recommended for Plumbers, Steamfitters, and Sprinklerfitters and those having experience with potable piping systems.
